Founded by the leaders behind Action Day Schools, our Youth Sports League combines expert coaching, purposeful play, and the trusted foundation of one of the Bay Area's top early childhood education organizations.
Action Sports Soccer League is open to all children across the Bay Area!
It’s the perfect way for kids ages 2 years old to 4th grade to stay active, build soccer skills, experience the excitement of team sports, and make new friends within our broader community.
Player divisions
Please use your child’s age / grade level for Fall 2026 to determine their division placement.
This co-ed division is for the littlest soccer player, where fun activities with a soccer ball are emphasized. This age group meets on Saturday mornings with their coach to learn about the game and practice developmentally appropriate skills tailored specifically to their age group. Athletes will participate in exciting soccer-related activities focusing on fine motor and gross motor skill development with their coaches.
*This division does not participate in full-length soccer games against other teams*
$235 per child
This co-ed division is mainly designed for 3 - 4-year-olds. Mighty Mites is designed to meet the needs of young and first-time soccer players. This division is co-ed and meets on Saturday mornings. Practices and games will take place on the same day, with practices happening 15 minutes before the scheduled game on Saturdays.
*This division will participate in game play against other teams*
$260 per child
This co-ed division is aimed toward our 4 - 5-year-old players and tailored towards following very basic soccer rules. Players in this division begin learning concepts of team play, and basic rules are followed, including the use of a goalie. Practices will be 15 minutes before their scheduled game on Saturdays.
*This division will participate in game play against other teams*
$260 per child
This co-ed division is designed to help better transition our young players into learning the rules of soccer by using a larger field. The players will also begin to learn more rules of the game, including the use of a goalie. This division will practice one day during the week with their volunteer coach and meet on Saturdays for their game. Shin guards are required for this division.
*This division will participate in game play against other teams*
*This division requires a once-a-week commitment to a weekday practice*
$310 per child
This co-ed division will use more traditional rules, including the use of a goalie, and will be played on an appropriately larger field. In this division, children begin learning more about sportsmanship and teamwork. This division will practice one day during the week with their volunteer coach and meet on Saturdays for their game. Shin guards are required for this division.

*This division requires a once-a-week commitment to a weekday practice*

League Registration Fees by Player Division:
- Tiny Tikes (2 years old)......................................................$235
- Mighty Mites (3 - 4 years old • Preschool & Pre K)........$260

League Fees Include:
- 10 weeks of games and practices
- Soccer uniform including jersey, shorts, and socks
- Opening Day & End of Season Celebration Events

Parent Volunteer Coaches & Assistant Coaches
Volunteer to be a coach or assistant coach upon sign-up.
Coaching commitment includes:
- Managing games and activities with teams.
- Communicating and relaying vital information to parents provided by the league director.
- Coordinating weekly halftime snacks with families.
- Attend the mandatory coaches meeting.
- Be a positive role model during practices and gameplay
Parent Coaches will receive $25 off the registration fee. *Limited availability*
Severe Weather Conditions
In the event games are canceled due to severe weather conditions, games that are postponed will be moved to the end of the season and rescheduled.
Practice/Game Location
All games and scheduled practices will take place at Amber Elementary School, located at 3500 Amber Dr, San Jose, CA 95117. Divisions with weekly practices will also have their practice at the same location.
